The challenge for the competing chefs is to take a mystery basket of ingredients and prepare the dish and will be judged based on their creativity, presentation, and taste with limited time to plan and execute the dish.
The show is divided into three rounds, first round is the appetizers or hors d’oeuvre or horderve, a food item served before the main courses of a meal, commonly smaller than main dishes, and often meant to be eaten by hand, then second round is the entrée, a dish served before the main course, or between two principal courses of a meal, and third round is the dessert.
